    Dryer sheet in your tumbler???

I read a blog where the guy put a dryer sheet in with his brass when tumbling them to help polish and clean better? Does this actually work? What can be used in a vibratory tumbler to help get the residue out of the inside of the case?

I use dryer sheets all of the time in my tumblers.

They don't help clean the brass but they do keep the dust down and, to a degree, make the media last a wee bit longer.

I change them with every use - one batch one sheet, second batch new sheet.

Which beats the acrid smell you get from using some powders.

I like my brass to smell Country Fresh. :P

Just put the brass in the dryer with your undies. It will kill static cling too.

The problem with is that the brass will put the skid marks back on the drawers.

    Everyone does standup around here.

I put a sheet in with my brass, but I cut it in quarters first. It takes an amazing amount of crud out of the media, and I find the media lasts a lot longer. Somehow it becomes a magnet for the stuff that comes off the brass. Highly recommend this trick.

Does nothing for the brass than I know of.

Married for a long time, 4 kids. Just a joke though, the bride would not be happy.

Seeing as there is a thread about tumbling i figured i would throw this question in also instead of starting a new one.
Does anyone use car wax polish as cleaner in a tumbler ? I have been using it on pistol rounds with no problems so far and it comes out a lot cleaner.
Any pros or cons on this ?
