    .338 edge vs. .338 lapua

    I recently went to a 50 cal shoot but there also was acouple .338 and now i really want one!!! so what .338 is, in your opinion, better?

    >338 Lapua magnum is more common ..... the .338 Edge has slightly better ballistics .... the difference is not worth going to the Edge ..... IMHO :wink:

    Both have very similar ballistics. Can't go wrong with either. Lapua brass is outstanding, and I'm unfamiliar with edge brass so I can't comment on that. I'm positive that which ever you choose, you will not regret it.
    I'd rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6.

    As single shot fun rifle. Not much difference.

    For magazine fed sniepr system Lapua wins because Edge runs too long for most magazine systems.

    Lapua brass is stronger and better.

    i was actually thinking about the 338 edge as it looks like the 338 Lapua is about to be banned an Australia... Why???? someone said it was a sniper round and the politicians must be getting scared cause they are doing a crap job.
