    300 win mag ballistics chart

Is there is a chart that will tell me that if im zeroed at 100 yards how many inches and how many clicks I need on the scope to hit a target at 200, 300, 400, etc.... I am sorry if this has been talked about but I searched and could not find any. I did find Mel's ballistics if I am zeroed at 600 yard. but cant tell how many clicks to make. Sorry if this is a stupid question I tried to find the answer on my own ops: Oh I have a Mueller Tac II scope and my BC is 0.509 if that helps LOL

It should say on the turret how much it will adjust per click. For example, it will have an arrow indicating which way the POI will move and something along the lines of '1 click = 1/4" at 100 yards'. That's not strict though, some optics don't say. If that's the case you'll need to look at the manual.

I love that round. It's worked great for me thus far, two deer and one moose.

For ballistic charts, I downloaded the Federal catalog. It gets ya any wind speed you want, drop from 100-1000y, totally interactive.

Don't be shy to crunch the numbers, bro. Use the Federal chart to figure out the drop, and then do the math.

Their accubond load is listed at 2960 FPS.

Drop at 400 yards with a 100 yard zero is -25.1 inches.

1 MOA is 1 inch at 100 yards (or close enough to) and your scope uses .25 MOA clicks.

Hence, at 400 yards, one of your clicks will be one inch of movement, since 1 MOA at 400 yards is 4 inches, right?

So 25 clicks will get ya there.

That's a good one to start with to see and understand the formula....Download the catalog and take it from there!

You won't be dead on zeroed, but you'll be very well into the ballpark.

did you tryed this totally free balistic software PCB 1.8 (it's under DOS but it works well for me) you can choose either inch/yards/gr units or metric units.
You can download it from the french Long Range Shooting forum Mailly server here
