    Took out my Rem 700 LTR (.308 Win.) out today for an ammo comparison test. Here are my results.

    5 rds 168 gr FGMM, .756 MOA

    5 rds 168 gr Black Hills Match, 1.192 MOA

    5 rds 175 gr FGMM, 2.192 MOA

    I expected the 175 gr FGMM to not fair so well with the LTR's 1-12 twist, but had a box to give it a try and ended up getting the results that I expected anyways.

    Then I made an adjustment on my scope (Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14X40) and fired another group with the 168 gr FGMM (which I am now going to use exclusively) and came up with;

    5 rds 168 gr FGMM, 1.192 MOA

    This is all I fired on the day as the range was busy.

    ps. I got my digital camera back from my wife, but how do I do the photobucket thing so I can upload photo's to the site? PM me with an answer someone.........PLEASE!!!

    I like the Federal GMM 168 grain, but I think you can draw your group even tighter with handloads...use the same Sierra BTHP's with the brass you saved, and pick up CCI BR2 primers and a pound of Reloder 15....See if you can get those groups Sub MOA. I know it will get even better. I had good luck in my 700P when I did it.

    I don't have any reloading gear yet (and probably won't for a while), but I'm definitely going to give that a try when I get started in the reloading field.

    The gear will literally pay for itself in less than a thousand rounds.

    Well my dad and I went out this morning. I was only able to shoot one group with my VS, but I'm sure happy with it. 100yds .54in. Remington UMC 50gr JHP

    I hope the Church Lady doesn't see that target Dom. "Lets see... Who could have helped you learn to shoot? Could it be... SATAN?!?!?"

    I got out today shooting my newest addition, a savage 93R17, and I must say it is sweet shooting rifle. I lucked out the other day a buddy of mine wanted my bow and we decided to do some trading so I got the rifle as part of the trade. All I need now is some better optics. Anway here is my best group of the day and a pic of the rifle.
