    March 2017 Monthly Shooting Challenge

This one should be easy to score.

    Remington 40x 22lr 50 yards

And this one will be harder, I could shoot it again and get more x but I'm good with this.

    Remington 700 in 260 Remington.

And the two rifles I shot them with.

Way easier with the 40x the scope on the 700 needs to be updated badly.

Next time put em all in the X ring, makes it easier to count lol. Nice shooting Ryhno.

What scope are you running on the 700?

I redefined trust between my wife and I. Bought her a gun, hand loaded ammo for it, showed her how to shoot it, and made her the beneficiary on my life insurance.

    Viper PST 4-16 (SFP)

Image quality degrades at higher magnification, and even at 16x the target wasn't easy to the center of.

Remember what I said earlier about larger calibers.

Indeed a larger caliber would have some benefits.

Nice shooting guys. Totally new to this. Is a bipod rest ok or do I need some other mechanical rest?

Either bipod or other rest are good to go, as well as a rear bag, per NorCal's post.
    Supposed to be shot prone.
