That is undoubtedly true for non-special ops capable units. Not so much for SF units. We also need to define "better". I know of very few civilians who have ever taken personal equipment into combat. Can you provide examples?

Orkan...any ideas on camouflaging that price from the wife????

Chris Kyle used a nightforce NXS and a .300 win mag.
There are better scopes and better calibers out there.
To add to that, the navy uses the mk13 action on that 300 win. That action is made by jerry stiller in Wylie, tx. Stiller makes better versions, and more expensive than the special forces mark 13.

This may seem heart breaking to you, but it's true.

The the tac and specter series of actions are improved versions of the military version.
Need proof, ask mr. Stiller. He'd be glad to tell you.

I might be heart broken about some things, but your post doesn't quite make it.

I'm not up to any more hair splitting today. I assume you're a SEAL or Delta and know exactly what they use?

Nope not a seal but the information is available to everyone. It's not top secret.

    Search mark13 mod5

    It's called the Internet.

You might want to show me the action(s) you named. I don't seem to see them.

    Stillers Precision Firearms

Interesting you claim to know he used a MK13 Socom. The page you referenced shows Evaluations taking place in 2009 and says nothing about Chris. When was Chris discharged?

Look at the rifle on the page you posted. Look at the photo of Chris here:

American Sniper Rifles: 5 of Chris Kyle?s Favorite Sniper Rifles | PrecisionRifleBlog.com

Look like a MK13 to you? Look at the barrel. MK13 or not?

Look at the action again. Notice the bolt handle? Does that look like a Stiller or is that a Remington?

Look at the stock. AICS or not?

I don't know. You look at the photos and tell me what you see.

Once again you need to learn how to search for info on the Internet. I will once again look it up for you.

Stiller?s Precision Gets $2 Million to Build Navy?s MK 13 Actions « Daily Bulletin

That is the 300 win action used by the navy seals.

I refuse to play your silly game. You obviously are too lazy to even look at the links I posted. Anybody else look at those photos and tell me if that is a MK13 Chris is on?

You are missing the point pal.

You said special forces uses better equipment than civilians.

I showed you the weapon the navy seals use.

I proved to you that the rifle uses the mk13 action built by jerry stiller.

I also proved that jerry makes better actions than the mk13 which are available for civilians. This is verified by jerry himself. I called him in person before I bought my action.

You can continue to believe the military uses better equipment. You will be wrong.

The nxs on the mk13 mod5 is not as good as the atacr or the beast. Night force will gladly confirm that.

I'm done with this. Believe what you want. That doesn't make it true.

Believe it because it's called the Internet, therefore everything you find there must be true, pal.
