    Budget FFP Rifle Scopes?

    Hi,
I need some help selecting a rifle scope for two rifles I am currently building.
The Scope market seems to change daily and I am not up on the current list of newer manufacturers.
Hoping to find a budget scope and not to spend and arm and leg since I need two of them.

    The Rifle Specs:
    • 2, Parker Hale M82/ C3A1 replicas in 30.06

    Scope Requirements
    • Needs to hold zero...Really, needs to hold zero.
    • Repeatable tracking/adjustments
    • Shooting medium to long range, up to 1000 yards.
    • First Focal Plane
    • Magnification preferably around 6-20x
    • Objective lens 40-50mm
    • Clear/Clean Images over bright distorted images. Minor distortions on edges of glass at full magnification is acceptable.
    • Not sure of available reticules? Prefer Horus, or basic Mil Dot.
    • Weight is not an issue
    • Any used scopes that fit these requirements?

Hopefully this doesn't sound too far off. As stated I don't know if there are any hidden Gems out there new or used.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks

The royalties on a Horus reticle are probably more than your budget.

But just to see what "budget" means to you...what is your budget?

I like the SIG line, or Burris makes a good budgeted scope. Or NF SHV line

Until the OP defines budget for us, all our these post doesn't really matter.
I redefined trust between my wife and I. Bought her a gun, hand loaded ammo for it, showed her how to shoot it, and made her the beneficiary on my life insurance.

Not knowing what the budget is it's hard to recommend a scope. However when I was looking for an optic for my new R700 SPS .308 long range gun I didn't wanna spend more than $500 on an optic at the time (I'm still in college and need beer money). After a lot of searching and watching reviews online I settled on an Athlon Argos BTR 6-24x50 FFP which was about $360. I have to say I am really impressed with the quality of the scope for the price. Very clear glass and have read many reviews of guys saying the glass is better than Vortex and as good as SWFA. Not having experience with those I cannot say for myself, but the glass is very good for the price. The turret adjustments have very nice tactile clicks, one recommendation is to take the turret caps off and change the grease out for a better lubricant. This is the only modification I have made and it did help make the turrets more audible. The scope also comes with flip up caps and a great lifetime warranty for any manufacturer defects or damage through normal use with no receipt. I think for the price Athlon is a hard optic to beat and is comparable to some of the more expensive brands.

Need to know the budget. But you are asking alot...a FFP scope that is consistent out past 1,000 yards.

What? Why would FFP/SFP make a difference in how consistent a scope is past 1,000 yards.
