If you're going for 1760 with a 300wm, I'm thinking you're round might be subsonic 2-300 yds shy of your 1 mile mark. I've had a heck of a time trying to hit 1300 yds with my .308. Hitting 1k was doable but the extra 300 yds has been elusive for me. I'm attributing this to the my round going subsonic at about 1050 yds. My guess is you might have some fun with a 300wm past 1400. Obviously what distance your round drops subsonic depends on the weapon, round, load and environmentals. Let us know your results.

My load in my rifle wasn't subsonic. Was able to do under 1 1/2 MOA at one mile.

Sure would like that recipe. 300wm supersonic at a mile. Do I understand that right?

It was just supersonic and not by much. And no, I will not give it out. I did go back to a sane load after that first time out.

Yes, you're right about the 300wm. It's running about 2792fps in current conditions (225 Gr Hornady BTHP), and so goes subsonic about 1560yds, which isn't too bad, leaving just a couple hundred yards. I will definitely let you all know the results.
