    Zeiss vs Leupold

I need some advice from the pros. I have a Zeiss 6.5x20x50 on one of my rifles at the moment and i need another long range scope and was wondering what everyone thought about the Leupold Mark 4 6.5x20x50.

Give me your thoughts on the comparison of the two scopes. I have owned some Leupold scopes before but only hunting scopes and i do like the quality. But i have only owned the Zeiss scope for long range use.

Optically, the Zeiss is far superior. Is it worth paying 1000.00 more for the Zeiss? That is up to you. My personal rifles wear Leupold while my duty weapons wear Zeiss.

I love my Leupold Mark 4 6.5-20x50. However, when I went down to the gun shop to look through all the scopes, I found, in my personal opinion, that Kahles was the brightest clearest optic of the ones I looked through. I looked at Leupold, Swarovski, Zeiss, Kahles, and Nikon. I looked through scopes of similar specs and was surprised that I thought Kahles was the winner, but they didn't have a reticle that I liked.

just my opinion which is virtually useless.

The Kahles is optically superior to the Zeiss Conquest models for sure. I prefer the leupolds to the Zeiss Conquest.
