This is a sincere question, since I am kinda new. Are you looking for an intermediate eye relief scope, for use in a scout configuration?

If so, I have had zero problems with the Leupold mounted on my Steyr Scout. I believe it is the FX-II, 2.5x28. The eye relief on it is 9"-17". In the same price range is the Burris Scout Scope, 2.75x20. The eye relief is 8.5"-14".

Product reviews on Midway show they are rated about the same by users, as would be expected.

I saw two on e-bay,both are long eye relief scout rifle scopes.
    NcStar 2.5x30mm and a NcStar 4x32mm.
Did not know if these are any good.I'm new to shooting with a scope, only used iron sights before.

14.4" eye relief for the 4x32mm
10.45" eye relief for the 2.5x30mm
Thanks for any input or opinions.

Pistol scopes generally have long eye relief, maybe that's the way to go.Is the reason to get ahead of a straight bolt? Maybe the thing to do is get the bolt handle changed on the rifle to clear the scope.Or are you using one of the ATI full length rail stocks?

Yes I am trying to clear the bolt handle without having to modify the bolt handle but may do that anyway and not use the long eye relief scope.Still have not decided. Thanks for the info.

With NcStars you get exactly what you pay for. Send me the money instead, I'll have more fun with it than you will with one of those scopes!
