In the current and coming political climate you should probably go ahead and make firearms aquisitions now. You already have the AR (the lower is the part considered a firearm) so I'd pick up the .338. Even if the law doesn't change if this rifle gets to be a hit there will be a waiting list before too long.

Sorry to resurrect this old post. But I am fairly new here (been browsing for a few months, but just registered) and I just have to say wow. I am in love with this gun. And to find out it's designed in the same city as me...

Many, many great firearms designed in Utah. Mr. John Moses Browning himself was from Utah.

If you call them up Nick might let you go out to the range and try one out if you're interested in buying it.

Not sporting the cash for one of these guys yet. Still scrounging to finish my Sako project. Congrats to all you that have them though. I'll just have to be green with envy for a while.

I've had one for a couple months now. Still breaking the barrel in, and Haven't had a chance to really reach with it but FWIW mines been shooting around or a little over .5 moa out to 300 yards with the factory HSM 300 grain I bought here at SC.

Ordering Dies, can't wait to work up some loads for it.

Another neat thing if you're worried about a ban is once you have the rifle, you can order the caliber conversion kits all day long, no FFL or anything.

I just got back from the range with my DTA with the custom .308 conversion I built for it. Accuracy is there. Got a 5 shot group that was .5MOA, would have been in the teens were it not for the 1 flyer that opened it up to .5. Have not gotten to shoot the custom 7WSM conversion yet, but that range report is coming soon!
