if it were my money, i think i'd invest it in a nice aftermarket trigger assembly. the rest of your setup is pretty hard to improve on without spending major coin.

I'll second that! Jeff makes a heck of a DBM system.

Your Howa pretty much comes out of the box without the necessity of tuning. Even your trigger is adjustable. Roedale precision makes a very nice chassis system for them. It will cost more than your rifle. TacOps makes an oversize bolt knob which will aid you in cycling that bolt...this is by far the best mod I have made on mine; other than the supressor of course. If you feel the need for an adjustable cheekrest, try KArstens.

The trigger is quite ok out of the box,but i did give it a little bit of 600 and 1200 sandpaper and make that trigger profile little bit smoother, now it is nice, but i think timney would be best choise if looking good firing.
This stock is not what it was originally game to me,it was"synthetic"stock which was painted matte black to look like a vinyl stock.
It was so poor that i did not able to make a shot whit it.
So i bought this one what is in the picture, only broplem is that this laminate stock dont like moist or water,so i have been looking to buy a nother stock for rougher conditions.
One what i have been looking is bell and carlson medalist

this one,but i have read that this stock is not so good what they advertise it.
That alloy bedding is not all the way in stock,so if using bipod, that front stock might take on the barrel and groups are not tight.
But if not using bipod and shooting on track like sand bag that is ok,but i like to use bipod, its so simple and fast to get on fire posistion.
But like i sayed im am not sure if it so,just read that kind of post.
I have shoot tikka m595 and i think this howa 1500 is as good as that tikka is,maybe even better.
Roedale has some tuning staf for howa and weatherby but those prices....
I have been looking for somekind neopren cheakpeace for my rifle, but have not find out that right yet..
That is quite a slick, but it will be done better
Thanks for all guys for these helpfull words+++++

The medalist stock has a full length aluminum bedding block. I don't think a bipod would bind the foregrip of this stock as I have been using one on a bipod for over a year. The flat foregrip works well for benchrest shooting but is quite picky about the bipod due to it's profile.

The only thing you need to do with these stocks out of the box is very minor fitting in the barrel channel so it freefloats completely. Also a little trimming in the safety to accomodate the third position. These are good stocks for the money. Roadales are much nicer, if you don't mind selling body parts for it. Lol
