Parker Hale 1100 30-06 w/ Pecar scope - Questions

So I found a Parker Hale 1100 30-06 w/ a Pecar 4x81 on it. Its Chambered in 30-06. Considering picking it up just because. Now, I know nothing about Parker Hale Rifles. I have been scouring the web and from the info I have on the rifle currently I have gathered the following.

Model 1100
Walnut Stock with rosewood tip on forend
Chambered in 30-06
Bladed Front site

Through my research I have online I have concluded its a 1100 or 1100M lightweight. Gonna go check it out tomorrow evening. Any good advice from Parker hale fans out there on what to look for, besides the normal things one checks on a bolt gun, Quicks etc. Im a fan of actions that use the Mauser claw type extractor.

I once had a Parker-Hale "Midland" Model 2100 rifle in .243 that fits your description pretty well. Walnut stock with a roll-over Monte-Carlo cheek piece and a rosewood fore end tip. Stock was rather squarish and flat forward of the trigger guard. Action was pure Mauser 98 type of the commercial style with a shroud over the cocking piece on the back of the bolt.

It was a very nice looking rifle that was an average shooter.

I believe those actions were made in Spain for Parker Hale, although I hope to be corrected if I'm wrong. You may be able to find more info on mausercentral.com too. There are a lot of guys there that really know their kahkah.
