Scope base torque spec for Howa 1500?

I have been getting different answers from the areas I researched. I bought a one piece DNZ mount for my Howa and would like to know how many inch pounds I should torque the mount to the receiver base? The specs for the rings themselves are provided by DNZ, so Im good with that. Any help is appreciated.

I called Legacy to ask but they just said they hand tighten.

Do you have a torque wrench? If so 15-20 is perfect. If not, use the little end of your wrench to tighten and you will be fine. That's another reason why they are made with a long end and short, to keep us dummies from using the long end .

15 inch/lbs on the base and probably 20 inch/lbs on the scope. And make sure it's inch/lbs NOT foot/lbs lol. Also I'd slide your rings as far forward in the bases' slot as possible then tighten them down to spec. That way if your rings slide they will already be against the rail where they would end up anyways.
