    New Kel-Tec RFB 7.62 rifle...

Here's the link for the brochure.
    http://www.kel-tec.com/download.html

It was at the 2007 SHOT.
I don't think they could have made it any uglier, but rather innovative.

    Imagine a 32" barrel on a 40" rifle...
Standard FAL mags, 10" or 11.25" twist

They are claiming ballistics exceeding the 300WSM and approaching 338 Lapua using a 210 grain bullet.

    What do you guys think?

Note the one in the video is the carbine, the "target" one has a 32 inch heavy barrel

It looks like quite a departure from the Kel-Tec .22 and .223 folder rifles. It has a sort of European flair, like something that Steyr, or FN, or MAS might build. It would be interesting to see how it grouped.Up til now, I considered Kel-Tek as the Hyundai of arms manufacturers.

That is a funny looking rifle. I wonder how it will compete with the m14/ar-10 series.

Probably not very well. Kel-Tecs aren't known for their accuracy, but rather their collapsibility, light weight and low cost. It's definitely a niche rifle, but I really doubt it'll be seriously competing in world class competitions.

Any ideas on price? If it's anything like their SU .223 carbines, it might make a nice little vehicle/backpack/SHTF rifle.
