You want to get a mold that matches this bullet.

Looking for information on the best 45 lswc bullet mold for shooting bullseye and load. Just bought new Taurus pt1911, will post picks after transfer is complete. Plan to see what I can ring out of this pistol.
Do you have a load to match or give a starting point.
yep, that's what I shoot, I use the Lee Classic Turret with the Lee powder dispenser, # 53 hole, which works out to 4.0g bullseye. This is considered a powder puff load, but out of my 1911's it's pretty accurate out to 25 yards. With the lower velocity, the lswc's don't lead up the barrel as fast as the higher velocity rounds do.
Another thing you can do for accuracy is use your barrel from your 1911 as a case gauge.
hope this helps and have fun.

This is going to be a blast.
I think i got hooked after i got the GSG 1911 22lr running. So next winter when shooting indoors again I'll warm up with the 22lr and switch over to 45acp. I can work on load refinement this summer.
.45 acp is a very versatile cartridge.
