    wheres the suits at?

Why is there 54 pages of rifles and not even 1 page of suits? Are these becoming a lost art? After all this is "Sniper" Central, not "Accurate Rifle" Central....

heres mine at sniper school, we were on a stalk and my buddy felt ballsy enough to take a pic.

    here's mine:

I built them on used British shirts. I used Shoe Goo to glue the netting on, it was much faster than sewing. On the tan one, I used regular un-dyed burlap. On the green one, I used a couple old rain ponchos.

the central and East parts of the state vary from forests to high desert scrub. This will do fine for the arid, rocky, dusty areas.

the West side is lush and green and wet. The poncho should work fine, it won't soak up water like the burlap, should dry faster, and is very light. It also won't shred and leave strings everywhere.

Don't you guys find the larger suits not so much bulky as just over done? Stiffler mate you've the idea keepin it simple but still effective. If I can get some pics of mine i'll throw 'em up. I made mine for bow hunting originally with not so much hesian (burlap in American speak) on the left arm.

60lb draw weighted bow srting grabbing the hesian on the front of your suit is not fun nor does it help with your accuracy

I'll try sling some pics next weekend

All right, stupid question time boys. All kidding aside, deer are color blind and in Ohio when hunting one has to either have an orange vest, jacket, shirt..upper garment, or an orange hat. There are enough yahoos in the woods that the more orange the better. Is there such a thing as orange burlap or jute to make a hunting ghillie? I know it's a stupid question but I've really wondered.

You know oneeyedmac I've been wondering the same thing. Its funny that you ask that. Your right deer are color blind and i think a Blaze orange Ghillie would be a killer hunting tool. What you could do instead of burlap is us strips of Blaze orange fabric. I bet you could get it at walmart. The cool thing about this suit is you could tie natural vegetation into it with unwaxed and unflavored dental floss and to people you would stick out like a soar thumb but to a deer you will be invisible
    one shot, one kill
