    It's nothing new. Only to people new to this sport. People have been shooting 6.5mm and 6mm rounds since 2004. Terry Cross, an excellent shooter, used a .260 and was kicking everyone's ass so the race was on. I started using a .243 back in 2006 and went to the 6.5 Creedmoor in 2008 but keep the .243 as another club in the bag or tool in the tool bag for Orkan. Same for DBMs, FFP scopes etc etc.

    I like Skeet Golf. Guys with shotguns line the fairway and try and shoot the golf balls out of the air as they go by. Points lost for hitting the golfers (unless they are politicians). DQ for shooting the ball on the ground.

    Alright I have to throw this in. I saw it once, and havn't seen it again. Golfing with shoguns. Ball is placed on the ground, and you have to shoot the ball in to the cup.

    It's not really wasting range space. Most courses are in the middle of cities where a range would be a little inappropriate.

    Also, some country clubs also do trap and stuff.
