    MAKING PICS SMALLER FOR POSTING!!!!!

    G'day all,

A little toy I've been using for a while is the Windows Image Resziser Toy.
Great for emailing pics also. Its easy to use, or I wouldn't use it.

All you have to do is right click on photo, select what size to rezise it to (medium works well for posts), it creates a copy of the pic in the size requested, and then post it. Jobs right!
I just noticed a few very large pics getting around.
Hope you all find it as helpful as I did.

For real ease, I use FLICKR or FACEBOOK to store my photos.

Flickr is a photographic web storage site (My account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ravenblack1973/). You can select what size photos you post from here, as each photo is stored full size, but with an option to view at various other sizes (which you can post here).

Facebook automatically resizes the stored picture for use on Flickr, so grabbing that image and posting it here needs no resizing. (Yes....it is Facebook - but you can make your account as private as you want - so won't have idiot kids bothering you. I have never had any problems).

I've been using Paint to resize every picture. It gets tedious.

This sounds nice, I'll probably check it out.

The best thing to do is to upload them to www.imageshack.us and hotlink to the thumbnail image instead of a full size image. Makes the forums threads load faster and still allows readers to view full size images if they so choose.
