    Re-barreled .300 Win Mag

I just got my Weatherby Vangaurd .300 win mag back from Travis at TS Customs in Miller S.D. He installed a Bartlein Stainless 28" heavy barrel for me. He also trued the action. Optic is Vortex Viper 4-16X44 Dead-Hold BDC. Stock is Boyds Thumbhole Varmint. I sent Travis the barreled action on Dec. 20, He had it done on Jan 20. Travis is a very gifted young man who takes his work seriously. Not like some gunsmiths who tell you its going to take two weeks to do your job, and then 2 months later its still not done.

    Nice rig for sure!
-I redefined trust between my wife and I. I bought her a gun, taught her to shoot, and made her the beneficiary on my life insurance.

Nice rig. I've been hearing good things about Travis and it sounds like he has a good reputation building that I hopes he keeps up. As far some gunsmiths taking their good ole time with miss leading time frames?, I just can't believe that .

    Gizmo,
Good looking stick. I always like to see the Howa's, no matter who badges them. I like the Boyds too, great stable platform without the cost of the extra bells/whistles and such. Keep us apprised of on going progress.
