    Muzzle brake

I was wanting to add a muzzle brake to a Rem 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD. It has a 5/8"-24 threaded barrel. Are there any decent muzzle brakes out there <$100? Looking for a more affordable option. Its not really a necessity for me, but I'd like one to put on the rifle for the mean time until I get a can.

    Thanks!

    Nik

Why? What do you want or expect to do for you?

There is a thread om brakes. Have you read it? There are several suggestions but I'm not sure you will find anything below $100.

Hi, I am new to the forum, I have a 22-250 that I wanted a muzzle brake installed. I got a lot of crap, from a lot of people saying "what's wrong? Can't handle the kick from a 22-250?" Etc... My 22-250 weighs 21lbs! There is almost NO kick anyway, BUT. I got it done anyway! I am an avid coyote hunter, and I often get two or more dogs comin in at the same time, Now my gun doesn't even move off the target when the shot is taken! So the second dog is easy to find! It's awesome! It's a jp enterprises 5/8" x24 thread .925 outside dia. it was $85.00 on midway USA and $60.00 to thread the barrel. But your bbl is already threaded so that saves some coin! Hope this helps.
