    Please recommend a bipod.

Looking for a bipod for my rifle. I know Harrison is THE brand, and they are priced accordingly. Are they really that far superior to the rest? Can you recommend a different brand that is solid and reliable, but less expensive?

I have a Blackhawk bipod and I haven't had any problems out of it. Its not as good as my harris, you can get them a wally world for like $45 bucks.

The UTG ones aren't bad. But they're not really all that great either. I have one for my AR, it functions and works, just doesn't function and fit as nicely as my Harris.

On a side note, anyone want to trade Harris bi-pods? lol I got a 6-9 and need the 9-13. My belly doesn't let me get that low.

Don't go any cheaper than the Harold and if your have the money get an atlas. I have three atlas bipods and now my Harris is a spare.

I swapped my UTG out for a Harris yesterday. There are quite a few differences, but the main one I noticed is the small stamped rivets that attach the legs in the UTG and bolts attaching the legs in the Harris.

If you search this forum on bipod, you will find a lot of detailed information about the choices, most of which will be more expensive than the Harris.

What rifle and what kind of shooting will you be using the bipod for?

Nothing wrong with a Harris bipod and about as cheap as I would go. Have used the BRM-S 6-9" for years and still do on my match rifles. Good solid bipod. You can go cheaper but I wouldn't.
