Life's hard, buy a helmet. You're not going to get coddled around here so get over it.

Thanks, SRTS1. I like the Gunslinger model, but it is more money than I want to put into something that I will use infrequently. I started out looking at the Kifaru Express - It's about the right size (2300 c.i.), has integrated hydration, a padded belt (optional) and is well thought out. But Kifaru is proud of their products! The Gunslinger is comparable, but still quite a bit over the Force-5.

As for Kifaru being proud of their products, they have very good right to be. Is it expensive? Yeah, definitely, but buy something of theirs and you'll see. Once you go Kifaru, you never go back.
The Eberlestock stuff is very nice too.
Just don't buy Blackhawk...You can buy better stuff made right here in the States for the same money.
