They look very amazing !!!
And like Dannyboy : I can't wait to get mine too !! Pics will be posted at the same time I will receive her (already got her name !)
I agree with Danny, it will be a good idea to stick this one.
And congratulations to the owners of these beauties and to Mel to create them.

What less can you expect from a guy like mel.......seriously.

It's probably the 50th time I've seen these rifles, and guess what. It doesn't get old seeing these pictures. Now that means something.

Nice rifles guys

.338. Ahhhhhh....brings back memories......a hard kicking rifle. My M40A1 Clone specs are as follows.

Instead of the Winchester 70 floorplate is the Williams Floor plate.
.308 Winchester.
USMC M40A1 mount from TBA.
Tubb heavy recoil lug.
Williams steel floorplate.
Leupold 4.5x14-40X Mil Dot reticle.
Blackened follower.
Blackened Firing pin indicator.
11 Degree Crown.
#7 1:10 barell.
**** that Badgr bolt knob, went with the standard bolt knob to be in spec with the USMC M40A1

For DannyBoj, sorry for the delay brother I had a #*&+*# problem to connect !
So my SC is what I use to call an improved M40A1 :
- 24" 1:10 #7 SS montana rifleman barrel
- HTG Stock in forrest camo
- Badger Ordnance recoil lugg
- BO trigger guard
- BO 20° base
- BO 30mm rings
- Leupold 3,5-10X40 MK4 M1 with TMR reticule
and last but not least :
- Green-T finish
and with turner sadderly sling and starlight case cut to fit.

And she is on the assembly line, so the birthday is coming !!!! like my heart attack  (I think I check the status page twice or three times per day   )

Heres my SC1M40A1....kinda

.308 win
24" #7 MT barrel in 1:10 twist
McMillan HTG w/ adj. cheek piece in GAP camo
Badger AI detachable floorplate
TPS rings and base
IOR 3-18X42 <-- Awesome Scope

Mel really is a craftsman, this rifle is spectacular. It shipped with a little .38 group and during break-in I managed some in the .47 range with lots af really great 2 shot groups...just cant quite get that third on in there. Here are some pics that Mel took, when I get time ill post some with the scope, bipod and case.

Great looking rifles all of them. I also see SC does do a Lefty now and again.

I'm glad this thread was started, SC rifles are really nice and one of the ones I wish I could get my hands on. I wish we'd get to see more on them. I remember when the survey first came out when Mel was looking for what the favorite features and characteristics were, as well as a few sample spec lists and prices to vote on.
