    Question AR-15 scope help

    Hey guys,

I've owned my AR-15 for some time now and I plan on using it for hunting. Just need some direction on which scope to purchase.

After quite a bit of research, a lot of people recommended the Nikon P-223 for hunting.

    Any thoughts on that scope?

This is hard to beat for short to medium range. Good glass and it's got a dial to spin in your range out to 600.

Looks great, thanks for the recommendation. Any scope recommendation below $300?

We just brought in the Bushnell AR Optics 1-4x24mm FFP - Illuminated 300 Blackout which we have on sale reduced from $329.99 to only $199.99. It's certainly worth a look

Looks really good, thanks for the link! I was reading this article, https://scopesfield.com/best-scope-for-ar-15/ and I was thinking on getting the Primary Arms 1-6x24.

So my question is, should I get the Bushnell AR 1-4 or Primary Arms 1-6?

I would have to think it over. A lot of people speak highly of the Primary Arms 1-6. If I go with Bushnell, I'll let you know. Thanks for the generous discount offers

I was going to recommend this Primary Arms scope. I had a problem AR and tried a few optics before this one made it a nail driver.

I have another really pricey precision AR with a Schmidt on it I target shoot out to 800 yards fairly regularly in competition. I don’t think I would try to hunt with it past 400 though. And I think I’d stay within 200 unless I had a scope with FFP mil/mil and RZ turrets. The least expensive scope like that that I know is good is the Vortex Viper PMII 3-15 with EBR2C reticle. But it’s probably going to cost more than $700 for one of those.
