I just got mine and am trying to come up with a load !
    Thanks
Cappy, you need to measure your chamber. Someone else's number might be wrong for your 110. If I'm relosding for that rifle I use the Hornady bullet-comparator adaptors on my caliper and the throat- gauge. subtract .020 to .040" from the contact-with-the-lands. The only reason to be concerned with COL is to load the box-magazine properly. If you load single-shot, you can make that puppy as long as will work in the chamber. Some folks say they like the bullet touching the lands; that scares me for no good reason other than the thinking that pressures build while waiting for that bullet to move while it's jammed against the lands. If it's off-the-lands, you have some movement as the initial crash occurs at not-too fast a speed(50MPH). I know I read that number somewhere but cannot find it today. Hornady swears it was not them!

Measure where the ogive contacts the lands; the bullet tip has nothing to do with it; they're all different lengths anyway. That's the reason for the bullet-comparator gauge adaptors(from Hornady).
