    Sharpshooter, try http://www.steyrarms.com/index.php?id=89 and choose the one closest to you. The rifle would be sent back to Austria unless they have the equipment and expertise 'Stateside - which I kinda doubt, since relatively few rifles would require rebarreling in a given year.

    So in other words, it wouldn't be possible to attach other than Steyr barrels to the Scout?

    from what i understand steyr must re barrel the scout.

    Thanks, but I already own a Scout myself

    I just think that the front is bit too light when I'm shooting at the range, so I was wondering if a heavier barrel would be the solution.
