    Ruger Precision Rifle in 5.56

I picked one up to shoot on my 350yd range. Anyone have any comments or tips? I will be using a Leupold MK4 3.5-10 and probably hand loads.

    Thanks

If you have trouble getting it to shoot then look at the scope first. I have one just like it sitting on the shelf because it went haywire.

What twist do the RPR 223s have? I'm going to guess 1-9? Handloads with longer heavier bullets will make it a better long-range gun, but there are practical limits and a lot depends on twist rate.

With a 1-7 he could possibly stabilize the Sierra Matchking 90s, although the box says 6.5" I've found that my Armalite M15National Match with a 1-8 will stabilize the Matchkings.

The mk262. Mod 1 will shoot way sub MOA at 350.
I shoot the 77gn smk in a 1-9twist at 600yds with ease on a light windy day. Bolt gun.
