BTW: My scope is a Vortex Viper 6-24 x 50 (illuminated reticle) 2nd focal plane scope with Burris XTR medium tactical rings and a Weaver tactical base. I have shot the rifle out to 750 yds. My groups I quoted were at 100 and 200 yards. I was only ringing steel beyond that.

I can imagine plenty of stocks better than the HS precision.

HS precision is better than most factory stocks. However once a person gets behind an adjustable manners or McMillan it is hard to go back. Chassis are nice too, but the feel of a quality conventional stock is second to none.

Ddd007. Agreed. Manners composite stocks are some of the best out there. McMillan is exceptional too. The A5 is a personal favorite. How’s the rifle coming along. Did you get it painted yet

Not yet. I put a few rounds through it, but haven’t done anything with it yet. Things have been busy here. I’ll get to it eventually and send pics when I do.

Shoots pretty good. I only put 20 rounds of factory Berger through it, but it definitely shoots.

I might have to rethink my opinion of customs if I get some Ammo info and targets to see.
