Savage 64-TRR vs Savage Mark II TRR vs Ruger 10/22 tact 1230

Hi was wanting to get a new .22 and was wondering what the best is from the three listed above. The savage 64 has the best price but does it lose any accuracy compared to the more expensive other two? Anybody have a used one of these they want to sell? Thanks for any info.

Good question. I was considering asking this question earlier today only I was considering the savage mkII and the cz452 varmint.

I have the MkII and it shoots more accurate then my skills can. I don't believe my shooting will ever be limited by the MkII it is very accurate. My boys like to use it to shoot .40 and .45 empty brass off a log @ 40 yards and can do it all day long. I haven't used the Savage 64 but this Xmas I picked up a Marlin 60 for my boy for his gift. It does not appear to be as accurate as the MkII but my boys have a slight "issue" with blowing through rounds way to quickly because of the semi-auto and I don't believe they are taking as much time to aim as they would with the Bolt. When I shoot the Marlin60 it is quite accurate. I don't feel it is in the same league as the MkII but it also wasn't on your list anyway.

Im going to go with the Mark II TR myself. They are hard to beat for out of the box accuracy.
