    Beretta 92FS INOX(stainless)...to "cammo-dip" or n

Hello everyone, I just wanted to get your quick thoughts on having a like new Beretta dipped in camo by one of the companies that provide the service. What are your thoughts, would it "ruin" my like new gun? Is it worth the money? Or should I put it towards my fund for buying a KMW???

Let me know what you think. Also, if you have a company your prefer please let me know.

    Thanks.

I would rather have my paws dipped in red phosphorous.

And there you have it, the not so subtle voice of reason.

By dipping it you would almost certainly void Berettas already crappy warranty.

That is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks.

But, for future reference, if the nice shinny surface of my Beretta is marked up how do I go about "restoring" it?

0000 steel wool, followed my mothers' crome polish with a white terrycloth rag, followed by NEVRDULL, That trio will restore any scratch on your frame to a mirror finish. That's the beauty of naked steel.

It is just a slight surface scratch. Nothing too scary...

    DeathStick, thanks for the tip!

Will try that out as soon as possible.

if it is just a surface scratch you may be able to forgo the steel wool and go straight to the polishes. Read the instructions on the cans, it's fairly simple. The mothers' chrome polish is a very fine abrasive compound that is designed to buff out surface scratches and works well on all types of metal-personal experience with high carbon steel, SS, aluminum, chrome finish, titanium etc. NevrDull puts an unbeatable professional sheen on the metal and coats it with a rust inhibiting residue.
