    New chassis/stock and accuracy question

    Hi All,

finally managed to source a decent chassis and buttstock for my savage 12 in 308. Went with an MDT LSS chassis and skeleton carbine butt.

Took it for a whirl today and noticed a drop in accuracy by a fair bit. I imagine the differing mass of the stock has put me off my accuracy node with the standard load that i was using before?

Do i start from scratch and work it up again or do I try loads close to where i was before?

    cheers

I would say that staying close should do you. Starting all over is what keeps it interesting though. I have honestly done significantly less shooting once my 308 became a 100yrd fly swatter with 110, 155 and 168s.
