    So Cal Classes?

Hi, I've finally got my hands on my rifle and equipment (http://a61.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/...2f2fa7ff1c.jpg) and am trying to find a quality class to take to familiarize myself with my rifle and, in a nutshell, obtain proper knowledge on how to safely and effectively use my Remington.

However, it seems classes are ranging from $90(http://www.firearmstraining.com/class_desc.html#7) to $2000(http://www.frontsight.com/courses/pr...g-four-day.asp). On top of that, it seems that most of the "rifle" classes I am finding are geared more towards Carbines, and my rifle...having a 26' barrel, internal magazine, etc.. is not exactly fit for many of those classes(i even tried asking the instructors).

My question is...does anybody know of a quality, not too over-the-top, Precision Rifle courses, available in Southern California?

It all depends on your goals and budget. A quality weekend basic tactical/precision rifle course is going to run up to $1,000. This would be 1/2 classroom and 1/2 range, out to 500+ yards. Use of Mildot, range estimating, intro to shooting in wind, etc.

Q - are you local LEO? If so, there are resources I can PM to you off line (Must be sworn LEO).

If your close to LA, one of the guys here on SC may be willing to do some 1-1 or 1-2 type basic skills training for a nominal fee.

Unfortunately, no, I am not a LEO. Do you know which LA-area SC member offers 1-1/1-2 training? Also, what is his 'normal fee'?

    Thanks,
    Matthew

Seeing that I never heard from SCB6 again I may be interested in that Mike. What does the class entail?

Ohh wow, I am very interested in attending. Can beginners attend this class? If so, how can I go about obtaining more information?
