I'm looking to rechamber a .223 Remington or Savage bolt action into .223 Wylde.

Any nuances that make one more suited to this than the other? Any other comments or advice would be appreciated.

I think you should be able to have either one of those type rifles converted to a 223 Wylde chamber. If you have one of those type rifles and ot shoots good then why change?

I've got a Rem 700 in 223 with a worn out barrel that I'm looking into having the barrel replaced. This link has a nice table toward the bottom of the article which shows the dimensions on various reamers.

I was surprised that the Wylde has a really tight freebore for the bullet yet some generous diameter for the case body.

After many conversations and research I decided to bag the conversion and go with a .308 . For the shooting I want to do, .223 is a little light.
