G'day all. I was thinking that why dont we have another Aust vs. Kiwi fun shoot. But to make it easier on those of use without access to longer ranges (I do have access to a 900yd range but its shortest range is 300yds!!!!), we could have a 25m and 50m .22LR shoot.

Some rules I thought up quickly.

.22LR standard velocity ammo only. NO MATCH AMMO - $5/50rds or less.
Scopes upto 5x magnification.
Any bolt-action rimfire thats fires .22LR.
Irons sights fine.
Front rest can be used, no rear, only your shoulder!!!.
5rds in each target.
25rds in 3mins into first five(5) targets - 25m
25rds in 3mins into second five(5) targets - 50m
Score - Who ever has the smallest average groups wins.
Here is the target - http://pistol-training.com/drills/dot-torture

Just post the target in this thread when shot with measurements done on the target and average posted aswell.

What does everyone think??

Could be keen I never heard anything back about my effort in the last match it wasnt a winning target but I would have liked to know how bad it was.
My Lapua pistol match ammo only cost me 40 NZDs so I can use that.
As for rear rest can we use our hand ?

Yeah hands fine. Thats what I do. I should have made that more clear. I just think that this would be easier to shoot and just for a bit on fun. I couldnt do the last one because of the distance, couldnt find anywhere long enough. This should be be easier for people to do.

Well, about six people have said yes so thats okay I guess. I'll give it a shot this weekend with the 25m shoot and I'll post up the target. The 50m will be fore when I'm next at the local 50m range.

Im using my CZ and CCI Standard Velocity ammo.
