In 1995 at the Federal Shooting Championship at Thun, Bernhard Ochsner finished first in the field shooting event. That's the Swiss equivalent of winning at Camp Perry. The man is an extremely talented shooter and he used my rifle to win this major championship.

Hi, very nice rifle and interesting story! Congratulations!
I just acquired the same rifle appeared to be in like new condition with diopter sights.
But I was puzzled to find that there is no serial number anywhere! There is "P. .308" on the receiver only. After totally disassembled, I found "9559 .308" under the barrel which I believed not to be a serial number.
On the butt, there is a sticker read as "wälti waffen langnau" which was ironed on the stock also.
Any information would be appreciated!
Thanks
