.338 Lapua Shopping

I am in the process of purchasing a new 338 lapua rifle and would like some help or feed back as to which one would be the best choice. I have looked at the Accuracy International AWM, ERMA SR100, SAKO TRG-42, Dakota Logbow, Robar SR90 and I have read about the Barret M98 (if it is available). Now, I know all of these are nice rifles and any one would make a fine weapon. If you talk to the dealers, most of them will try to sell you what they can get. I was leaning towards the AWM but want to make sure that is the best choice. I want a weapon that is durable and that has the most accurate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.[/b]

Out of those choices I have read nothing but good reviews about accuracy and good craftsmanship of the Sako TRG-42. If I had that kind of money that is what I would get. All of those choices are very good, you can't go wrong with any of them.
i'd go with the Dakota T-76 Longbow
ive fired it, accuracy was great
ergonomically sound

this has been mentioned before on the forum
there is no better when dealing with high end customized rifles
go with the one that you like the features of
I hav't shot any of them, But The sako TRG-42 is going to be my next gun.
Here is a good review.

I would consider building your own. I have a project in the works that is going to be a 338 lapua. It will have a nesika action, probably krieger barrel, and mcmillan a5 stock or a stock along the lines of that. Wont be done for a while but it will probably be better than what manufacturers make. Neet thing about building your own is you can fit the specs to your specific needs.
