I heard that Gov. Schwarznegger(sp) signed a bill banning all semi-auto and bolt actions in .50 BMG. Anybody from Cali. hear about this?

January 1st 2005 the 50BMG ban goes into effect for California so nows the time to sell a car or refinance your house and guy at least the action before you can't anymore.

Great, thats not good, and a sign of just how uneducated law makers can be. The last time I checked, the .50BMG (in its 90+ years of exisitence) was involved in one (1) murder in the USA. Sure doesn't seem like this ban will help much or anything.

Hmm, I used to be a fan of Mr. S. I wasn't aware he had a liberal slant. Well, my opinion and former admiration of him just went to zero. I'm not sure I'll ever watch his movies again either. Shame on him.
