In World War II, German snipers recieved the following rewards:

50 Kills - Wrist Watch
100 Kills - Hunting Rifle
150 Kills - A personal hunting trip with Heinrich Himmler

Most bad TV and movies suggest to me that the average German sniper stayed in the same hide and fired shot after shot until he was brought down. I know it must have been different, but I never read any real books about it other than an interview with three German snipers that I had posted here. Can't find it now though lol. I should post it in the WW2 section if I can. The guys in that interview put up some big numbers like 345 kills and such.

As for hunting FOR Himmler, wouldn't care if he was my 1st kill or my 151st

lol exactly, Jeff! Thats what I meant with my first post...

50 kills, hunt Goering. Hardly a challenging target.

100 kills, hunt Himmler...lil harder.

150 kills...the lil guy with the gay moustache.
