From what I hear my SC1A5 is almost completed and I'm going to need a scope. I was thinking a Leupold Mark 4 M3 would be a good compromise but with the end of the year coming up I was wondering if anyone had heard of any new offerings from Leupold were planned. Like perhaps an M3 with 1/2 inch elevation clicks, a first focal plane reticle or something else nifty.
I'm not married to the Leupold idea but would like a scope that's variable, fits standard badger rings, can shift from a 100 yd to 1000 yd zero in one turn of the dial, and doesn't cost over $1500. The latter requirement puts the USO SN3 out of my range. Should I hold out and see what comes or just buy the Mk4M3 now?
