I'm using a Douglas premium barrel on my rifle, so that is pretty cool...Probably about a 200 dollar barrel at least.

Did Armscorp not have something to do with 22LR pistols?

didn't armscorp used to make AR15/M16 type rifles? seems like they did back in the mid-90s.... maybe i am wrong.

As far as I know they are decent parts, The citadel barrels are pretty good too from what I have heard, but I have never fired one. As with all cast receivers, they are only as good as the castings, but armscorp has been around a long time in the M14 business to I assume they are Ok.

I like the idea of the double lugged reciever, i just wonder how well there stuff is made? The only M-14's ive dealt with were Military owned Springfield / Winchester / International Harvester rifles.

m14 receivers

A little late but check out the forged recievers from LRB Arms. Made in the USA and the best out there right now.
