You threaten to ban us when we talk about something that isn't about shooting. lolThis has been a good thread, and I wish more of you reading it would contribute experience and/or photos...something I could do more of myself.
We talk a LOT about shooting...and a LITTLE about everything else. Let's keep this on point.
The tougher thing is to hide from animals, but be readily visible to idiots with a deadly firearm in their grasp. One only need to read the number of hunting accidents each year and the increasing popularity of hunting to be fearful of getting shot by some trigger happy moron who thinks every twitch in the brush is something to shoot at.I like my surplus BDUs lol. Again hiding from animals isn't to hard. I haven't explored the idea of hiding from humans yet.
I tip my hat to Turkey hunters, especially the ones who are brave enough to get forest ninja'd up and go hunting in public management areas. Brave souls.
Well it depends on what you want to hide from. Deer? Turkey? People? (I'll ignore the obvious idea that you don't want to move when they are looking at you)Which pattern is the most concealing in a variet of environments? I'm looking into a camo pattern that will best be used in the majority of North American landscapes. Opinions??
