I've just received my handy dandy new Serbu BFG-50 (does it stand for "freakin'"???) I had the muzzle brake engraved with "have a nice day!

It's an interesting design. Looks like I'll have to have a verrrry long custom guide made to clean it from the chamber end.

--> I'd appreciate hearing from those with experience in cleaning this rifle

thanks.

Hey bud, this should probably be in the Rifle forum. I cant say as i have had any experience cleaning that particular rifle.... I do know however that lilja sells long cleaning rods. I belive that they might be able to point you in the direction of a rod guide as well.

heheh... it is now. I moved it here from the "technical issues" forum. Sorry, I should have mentioned something when I moved it

My Barrett M95 came with a very long plastic-coated tether, at which one end is threaded to apply a brush, gauze, etc. and it works very well--I've tried using rods on my .308, and it's just a pain in the ass in comparison, so take a look.
