im looking to get a 22lr as a beginner and i have narrowed it down to these two choices the cz 452 training rifle ($210) and the Marlin 980v ($250). i am currently leaning towards the cz because it has good iron sights that i can use until i have the money for a scope (most likely a Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40mm). is it possable to mount a scope and still keep iron sights?

Which one do you think is a better choice and why?

thanks
Jonathan

I know some people that are very happy with their CZ 452 varmint... In fact, I don't anyone who has ever complained about it.

BRNO is just another name for CZ, isn't it :?: I'm not really completely updated on .22 weapons. In any case, people are bragging about both CZ 452 and BRNO 452...so I would assume it would be a safe buy no matter what the name is.
