RRA,Bushy,Colt.. they all make top quality firearms. With Colt you pay a bit more, however they do command a much better resale value than any other AR. Most AR manuf. have had thier share of woes over the years, with Bushmaster there was a problem with the keys not being staked properly, with Colt they are using plastic buffers in most of their civi rifles. And yes you do pay more for the pony, just like saying why pay more for a Remington when you could buy a Savage for much less? The Savages shoot great, probably better than Remingtons out of the box, But a Remington is a Remington, its what all others are compared to. The Olympics are good shooters, not very good on fit and finish. At one time the Olympic "SUM" or stainless ultra match barrels were among the most desired and accurate barrels out there.
Well, the problem is the Savage and the Remington are totally different rifles. There is no practical difference between an RRA AR and a Colt AR, other than oddly sized pins in one. Oh, that and the price. Likewise, the Oly is the same rifle, but it seems the quality is lower.
