Hey Guys,

Just got a LR-308 24" Has the standard handgard.
I'm guessing I want to go with a harris bipod...
Do I just use my sling swivel or is there a better
way to attach?

Thanks,
Shawn

Use the swivel if you already have one on your handguard. The only time you need an adaptor on a Harris bipod is if you have a standard A2 handguard on an AR platform.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Reg

Does the bipod have another hookup for the sling?

Thanks,
Shawn

Thats a good question but I dont believe so. I have always used a secondary stock mounted swivel. I will check mine when I get home to be sure. If anything else, it is really easy to install a new swivel for a sling.

good luck on the project.

Yep,

The Harris' have a place for the sling on both the pivot and non-pivot models.

The one advantage that I've found with having 2 studs is that the sling is less likely to interfere with the bipod legs,
