Eff. 1/2/2005 has made the FBI Spec tactical flat black finish specified on the HS Precision and FN Contract Sniper Rifles available to the public.
After extensive testing of everything reasonable affordable in rifle finishes, DuPont Formulated this latest version of Industrial TEFLON-S to meet the rigid specs after field testing of the "other" finishes failed to meet the new standards.
It is available via HS Precision on their fine line of rifles and thru RMA for civilian and law enforcement use on personal or custom firearms.
Cost for a rifle is $ 300 complete + return shipping.
It is only currently available in the Military Tactical Flat Black.
