Hey all,

Just downloaded the new 2005 Federal ammo catalogue from their home page...Not the PDF but the EXE. If anyone hasn't seen it yet its way worth the download and its only 2.6 MB.

You can change your altitude, temperature, wind, distance, and zero and see how it affects every bullet...and the range goes out to 1000 yards. Last years quit at 500. It shows bullet BC too.

I know its not exact, but its pretty cool. Even if I'm finding out that 30-06 really doesn't have the lead over 308 the way I thought it did lol.

The 30-06 does... at long range have a better trajectory than the .308. But out to 300 to 400 yards / meters they are pretty much the same...

Yeah, I see what you mean. I knew 30-06 was hands down with heavier hunting bullets, but I don't know the specs on match stuff yet...Accubond and rounds like that have a BC considerably higher than GMM...thats odd
