I just bought 1,000 rds of Federal M193 ammo for my AR. I have seen photots of M193 boxes in different magazines and I've noticed that some come in a brown box (as did mine) and some come in a white box. Is there a real difference and if not, why did Federal make two different boxes?

Yes, we are talking about Federal XM193. I havn't been able to test the accuracy of it in my rifle, but I hope to get a ******* range set up at my house pretty soon :D . As for function, I've only had my Bushmaster for about three months. So far I havn't had any problems.

your bushmaster should be as reliable as your mags as long as oyu are using the right ammo

after your mags are broken in.. sometimes tehy are a bit skrewy for the first 30 rounds well one of mine was anyway the system shouldnt give you any problems at the range
