Fiber optic front sights have become very popular in competitions lately. I tried one in the local gun shop a while back, and even indoors they are VERY bright. They really get your attention. The question I have is, will the fiber optic ever break, run out, or get dimmer? Its basically a glass tube, and I can't see any reason why they would "go bad", anybody have any knowledge about this? I'd hate to get a nice new fiber optic front sight and then have it turn to junk like a pair of old tritium sights.
